“There’s a whisper down the line at 11.39?. When the Night Mail’s ready to depart, ?saying `Skimble! Where is Skimble? Has he gone to hunt the thimble?”
from Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats
Hello, I am Skimbleshanks. I left the mail train on the West Coast Main Line I usually inhabit to greet you and welcome you to Frederick Fuller’s blog/website. We hope you enjoy your visit, and whether you do or not, we also hope you’ll contact us. I will be here off and on whenever my duties as Railway Cat allows me. Let me turn you over to Frederick now. Ta-Ta!
Thanks, Skimbly, for taking the time. I know how busy you are.Hi! I’m Frederick Fuller, or as my students called me, Fuller; or Dad, the moniker my daughters use; or Grandpa, used by my twelve grandchildren; or Great Grandpa, my handle for my four greats, or, finally, Honey, used by Sweet Terry, my betrothed. But, call me by any name and I will probably answer. Indeed, Skimbleshanks, The Railway Cat is not about what to call me.
It is about writing, editing, formatting and publishing; my personal blog that I call One Man’s Journey, and a book nook where I will show websites to buy my books and works of other authors.I will review books, short stories, poems and essays at Words, Words, Words. In the near future I will interview writers and other artists. Being an animal activist and an obsessive cat lover, I will write about animals from time to time in About Animals. Finally, I’m a foodie and wannabe chef, so check out my Food & Recipes. When I learn how, I’ll welcome guest writers, and I will always welcome feedback. if any visitor is a writer and wishes me to review a work, let me know.
So, browse around and enjoy!
